I am Sarah Kitwara; currently 27 years old and married with one kid. I am the second born in a family of six and I am currently residing at Ngata village of Nakuru county.
I studied a diploma course in purchase and supplies at Rift valley institute of science and technology in Nakuru and have since been looking for employment with no success. To sustain us, my husband and I established a fashion shop about two year ago and has been a success.
As a primary source of income, the business has helpedus support the family.
My hobbies are reading informative and inspirational articles and visiting friends and family.
I own and run a fashion shop at Nakuru town where I sell clothes. The shop is in Bima premises in Nakuru town and the place has a good population. I sell mostly ladies and children wear.
The business has been good- almost getting to two years now and has helped us gather for the family since it is the only source of income for us.
Most of the revenue go to consumption and thus little remain for savings or reinvestments.
Since most of the revenue go to home consumption, it has been a challenge saving for expansion or other investments.
I would therefore like to use the $ 100 to buy new types of clothes in order to expand my customer reach. With new stock, I expect a 30% increase in profits.
The increased profits will allow me pay the loan with ease and the rest in diversifying my products for instance introducing shoes in my shop.
