About Me

Am Nisar Kalonga aged 23 . Am Zambian of nationality with a green national registration card. I live in Matero township in Lusaka province.
I started my lower primary school at Matero Primary School and later went to Libala Secondary were I completed my high school level .
After completing my grade 12, I enrolled at National Institute of Public Administration where I studied Diploma in Purchasing & Supply.

When I graduated in my studies I was offered a job with Zambia Breweries Plc were I worked stores controller for 2 years and 5 months.
After that my contract was not renewed and I did face some hardship as was waiting for the company to pay me some money, I stayed for three months and life was very hard for me. Until a month after I was received my dues.
At the moment am running my own business and I it has liberated me from some hardship I went through.
In Zambia without employment or business life is not easy at all, you need to be creative or be self employed.

When my children grow up I want to attain University level and further their education.
My hobby is travelling and playing netball.

My Business

Am involved in Mobile Money Services business, I provide customers services by sending and withdrawing money at their own convenient time. Mobile Money services is highly in demand because it helps customers transact on their day to day business activities at any time and it convenient. This nature of business that I choose I earn good profits and also good commission from Telecom providers e.g. MTN, Airtel and Zamtel .
I have invested K 50,000.00 in all the networks because most customers who go for MTN go for MTN, if its ZAMTEL they go Zamtel and also Airtel Money.
In am the agent for all three mobile providers and my profit is between K 15, 000 to K 18, 000.00 every month.
The profit I make I use it for reinvestment and expanding the business in other townships and towns. With this business I want to recognised the best Mobile Money Agent in the country. In addition other profits are used to help my children and other family members and also the living standard at home by providing three meal a day.

Project Proposal

My mobile money services is increasing in demand and the market is growing rapidly in terms of transactions. At the moment am lacking enough money to add on my available capital to help me meet the demand from the general public. The funds will benefit me and my customers to transact at their convenient any time able to deposit, send and withdraw monies on all networks, however this will also increase my profits and grow mobile money services.
