About Me

My Name is Hayford Dabie Kofi, i come from Goka in the Jaman North District in Brong Ahafo region in Ghana.
I’m born to a family of eight, i’ve five other siblings am the 4th born of parents. I had my primary education at Sarah Donkor Prep. & J.H.S in Goka and continue my secondary school education at Sunyani senior High in Sunyani the regional capital of Brong Ahafo Region. I’m currently studing psychology and Information Technology at University of Ghana, i am in my final year.
I also part take in a sporting activities, am a hockey player had play ever since my in Secondary school and still playing for the university of Ghana hockey team.
I love basketball as well.

My Business

I started this shop some years ago and it has brought great change in my life. I buy goods from local distributors and sell in my shop. I buy the goods at a very attractive price which brings me huge profits. I buy and sell all kinds of home appliances like electric irons, electric stove, blender, rice cookers, fans etc from various distributors and sell to the people in my community. With the help of ZIDISHA loan I was able to enlarged my shop, which is now bigger one. I chose this kind of business because it is the only home appliances shop in my area.
The average cost of the items is $42 dollars, I earn a profit of $123 dollars per week now, the profit is reinvested in the business as a plough back to increase my capital.

Loan Proposal

i will use the loan to fill my shop. In my area there are some things which the stores over there do not have so i will used the money to buy those things. i started this store about seven years ago and my store is located on the road side which attract many people to come and buy things from my shop. I need $100 to buy goods to fill my shop due to the people who come and buy things there and the profit that i will get from it i will use it to invest in my business and use some my school fees as well.
