About Me
I was born in a family of five and raised by a Single mother. I have struggled through hard and thick times to make it in life. I am a part-time student in Kenya Institute of Criminal Justice doing my final year in higher diploma in Criminology and Forensic science. I am bright, creative and innovative in all i do. The business i have is the greatest breakthrough in my life because it has given me most of the assets i have just from the money i get from it. I buy and sell computer accessories and computer services which comprises of a cyber cafe, where i offer services in Internet for research and social networking, photocopy, lamination, scanning, and printing. I believe that the field i am in will guarantee success based on the trend for the past three years. My first born daughter who is seven years old would like to be a Doctor when she grow up. I like watching football,reading books,socializing and watching movies. My first loan has helped me a great deal since it enables me to expands my business by moving to a spacious house and increased my stock. My Business
My business is Cyber Cafe which is basically comprises of offering internet services, typesetting and printing,scanning, photocopying, and stationery.
I also sell toners, cartridges and computers in retail. I decided to start the business about 3 years ago after struggling to get a job in vain. The biggest challenge that i face is not being able to supply efficiently due to lack of enough stock. I mostly deal with offices, schools and bureau. If i get this loan i will restock my shop an will meet the demand of my costumers. This will improve my profit margin giving me a chance to expand my business. I am proud of my business and i don't regret doing it.
Loan Proposal
If am given this loan,I will adds my business savings into it in order to improved service delivery and also adds value to my business. At the moment I have 12 computers which are serving 12 customers at a time within my cybercafe shop and giving me a profit of approximately $30 everyday. I have realized that there's need of adding 4 more computers in order to meet the demands of my customers and also increased my daily revenue collection from $30 to about $40 net profit everyday. I will purchase four new computers at the cost of $150 each and therefore $600 in total. Moreso,due to serving a lot of customers alone, I have realised that I should employed one person to assist me in serving and meeting the customers demands faster and effectively. This would adds more value to my business and attracts new customers.I would employed one unemployed youth and pay him $5 per-day and this will costs me $150 every month. It has taken long before I service my cybercafe equipment or machines such as,printers, computers, and photocopy machines. I would higher a technicians for this work and this will cost me $100. This will increased the performance of my machines hence, making them faster and effective to meet the demand of my customers.I will add the stock of printing papers and coloured papers due the increased of students and pupils coming for photocopy of handouts and printing. I will purchased 5rims of about 500 A4 plain sheets in each rim. This will costs me approximately $20. Finally I will increased the stock of stationery in my shop which are also in demands by both students and pupils coming to my cybercafe shop. This are, pens,exercise books, folders, blank CDS, DVDS, writting pads and envelopes. This will cost me about $20 in total. Lenders am very greatful for the trust and support you have been giving me and due to that, my dreams are now valid. This business has been the source of my livelihood since,its supportting my family and siblings financially.With the experience of now four years on it, I have confident that it would repay the loan as soon as possible without failed.
