Childhood, as we all know, is something which is very memorable. It both has good as well as the bad ones but majority of my childhood was a bit fine. Every once in a while, I used to have real bad times. I lost my mom when I was 3 years of age. Believe it or not, I even remember I used to wake up in the morning, fill a cup of water, go outside to the grave of my mother, and pour water on the cross saying mom, mom, drink water. In my mind I remember that is where my mom's sleeping. I'm very thankful to god for my childhood because I had food to eat and clothes to wear.
I have a diploma in Tours and Travel at City Institute of Professional Studies in Nairobi for nine months. My A-level studies was at St. Cecilia Namenya Girls Secondary School. I went to Madaraka Primary School in Nairobi for my 8-4-4. I did several promotions to achieve my college career. Passing through hardship, I started my door-to-door secondhand bags business for sometime still in Nairobi.
The unique thing about Mombasa is that it is the second largest city in Kenya with a population of about 1.2 million with a large seaport and an international airport. It has an important regional tourism centre, like the Indian Ocean, the existing historical ruins, the fort Jesus, and old town. I like swimming, reading topical Issues, meeting new friends, and learning new ideas.
I have a small beauty shop. I sell body lotions, accessories, hair. Selling of cosmetics in general has a great impact because women love beauty: no matter the age, you can never go wrong with beauty business. Every woman likes beauty. Women like products that help their skin fair, skin to glow, radiant skin. They like baby-like skin. Even when they look old, they will never get tired of making themselves. Most products I deal with are commercial. The beauty of a woman is her hair! My typical cost can also reflect on my daily budget for the business but I budget for at least 20,000 KES per month and I salary myself at least five percent. I also must save for a rainy day and the remaining percentage I put it back in the business.
I would like to top up my shop with new products, and I want to section some part so that it can have one side for hair section, arrange skin care on one side, and jewelries should have their own section. Increase items like body lotions, soaps, face creams, and classy ladies' handbags.
