my names are Phareny Musukwa am the first born in the family of two i was born on 1st January 1997 am 20 years old. i completed my school in the year 2015 at kabundi secondary school. am a member of the telescope young leaders of Africa network which deals in youth empowerment. i came to know about zidisha when i was invited by the director of the organization. i grew up without a father he died when we were young my mother looks after us . life has not been easy without a father but all in all we are struggling to meet our needs thus i started selling mealie meal our staple food in Zambia immediately i completed school in 2015.

maize meal is as easy put is used as a staple food so its used on a daily basis hence in demand
mostly the cost is rental milling companies has cut out on transport costs
i use the profits to reinvest in business
the loan will be used to buy bags of mealie meal for the shop at US$20
the benefits it will create to and others is the business will expand hence revenue will go up and my customers will have more of the product at their disposal and the more the business is growing it will create employment to my fellow youths as that is one of our objectives. The profits will double
