About Me
Am Sebastian Ndunda. 39 years old seventh in a family of ten.after finishing my primary education i joined a day secondary education in 1992 when the bank which my father had an account with collapsed.i dropped out in form one where i started working in dry-cleaner. was not payed well so i decided later to follow my sister in Malindi coast of Kenya where i meet a guy who was a painter.he took to a hotel were he used on low season to paint later he would repaint the signboard of the hotel there is when i discovered i had a talent of a artist he mentored me until i became a fine artist.am married.two children.the older child wants to be a pharmacist.second one an artist like me.my hobbies are watching football.wrestling, listening and singing gospel music also playing keyboard.
My Business
iam an artisan a painter to be specific.My business is painting pictures of fine art of wild animals n portraits of my clients.i usually draw the portraits take them to exhibition for display. as they are of quality most clients find them attractive and buy them.it has been been a success even-though capital has always been a challenge. tourists always are my major customers even local whom i always draw their them. i hope zidisha community will assist me.
Loan Proposal
i humbly request the zidisha community to assist me to raise funds for inventory for my artisan works. currently, am planning to paint many paintings to be ready for march exhibitions. i have budgeted for 200 dollars of which i have raised 78 dollars by now. the expenditure budget is as below;
paints - 70 dollars.
brushes - 10 dollars.
boards and pins - 10 dollars
timber frames - 10dollars
canvas - 100 dollars.
i hereby call zidisha to assist me in raising the funds. am expecting 50% return rate from the sale of the paintings.
