lam a businessman in nakuru town rearing poultry.nakuru is a cosmopolitant town and has a large population of people hence many hotels that provide market for both egg and chicken meat.i have a contract to supply three hotels near my home and as such the demand for the poultry is guaranteed.
i chose this business as it is profitable and i have had an experience keeping poultry so it was the ideal business for me as it also gives me the required revenue to live better in nakuru and make my family live comfortably.
this business is profitable and the revenue i get is between $120 and $180 .with this revenue i expand my business and buy the feeds for the birds and also take my children to school.
thanks zidisha for providing this platform of lending to small business people like us. when i get the money i will use it the following ways. i will put $40 into chicken feeds $60 to buy birds this will go a long way in improving my business as more birds means more profits more so during this season of festivities and chicken is a delicacy in kenya during festive season.
the money l will get from selling this birds i will use it to pay school fees repay my loan and improve living standard due to high cost of living
