Once I was employed and earning a good salary then one the employer decided to lay off some staff coz the the business was not sustainable. I was one of them. Life became hard that I vowed I would literally do anything legal to put food on the table for my family. Thats when I decided to begin by selling charcoal. From my savings on this charcoal business, I bought a computer. I began typing for people their projects and printed from a cyber. I was slowly progressing until I bought my own printer n eventually rented a place for the business. As of now I have 4 computers, 3 printers and 2 photocopiers.
From the income I get I distribute to pay school fees, rent for the shop and salary for one employee. There is a portion I take for savings
I do all types of printing services, receipt books, calendars, business cards, posters, delivery notes, invoice books, lamination, receipts books, job cards, photocopy, cd duplication, hiring of seats and mpesa agent. I also sell cold drinks. I intend to buy material for t-shirts printing, caps and large posters
I will buy one ream of photocopy paper. Costing 3.5 dollars. There are 500 sheets in one ream which will give me 1500, 15 dollars a profit of 10dollars after deductions. In addition I will buy the ink or toner for printing. I will also require some more cash for buying t-shirts I intend to print for campaigns.
