I am a Kenyan citizen, aged 36years old. I live in Mitimingi and work at Mitimingi Centre in my salon 'Diancy Hair Saloon'. I am a married lady with two children. One child is in class seven and the other one is in class one.
I attended Lions High School in Kisumu. After completing high school, I joined Asumbi Institute in Kisii where I learnt hairdressing and catering. I later went to Mitimingi where I started running my hair salon. This has been my source of income to me and my family. It has also created employment, since I have employed two ladies with whom I work. I therefore look forward for Zidisha to see my salon doing mysteriously well.
In my salon, I offer such services as weaving, braiding, brow drying, ear piercing, and manicuring, including others. I also sell braids, cosmetics and others. My salon is a great source of income, as at the end of the month I get a profit of 60%. With my income, I am able to pay the employees, pay the rent for the salon and also cater to the needs of my family. Supported by Zidisha, I know I will be able to make up to 90% of profit in a month, hence employing more workers and expand my salon.
My salon is located in between Gakure Welding Shop and Kianjoya Line Sacco's Office in Kimothos Building. Every morning, I ride to work with my vehicle KAC 558B to ensure I attend my customers early, mostly those with appointments. My customers really appreciate my work, hence I am looking forward to ensure I do all my best to them.
I propose this loan of 30,761 KES, of which I want to introduce different types of braids and weaves. This is because there is more demand from customers. This will probably increase my income and profit more than 50%. I therefore request Zidisha lenders to support me in making this purchase.
