About Me

I am Elijah Munene, an insurance sales agent in Kenya. I have been working to sensitise and enroll members of the community I live on matters relating to insurance. Having appreciated the fact that insurance is not very widely appreciated in the society I took it upon myself to work in industry as it has alot of potential for self development.

My Business

Insurance sales is a commission based job that pays commissions on monthly basis. Being an independent agent enables one to work for different insurance companies hence commissions don't come at one time in the month as every company computes their months from a different date.

Loan Proposal

Sometimes back I started an insurance agency whereby I help clients get insurance covers they are interested in. I got some support, then, from lenders in this platform and it really helped me start off. However, the inventory and office materials needed are quite expensive and therefore making it hard to acquire everything needed to get an agency into full functionality all at once. I currently need to acquire enough furniture for the office.
