About Me

I am Silvia Kemunto from Edgewood. My childhood education was not without ups and downs, my parents struggled to educate us and most of the times we were out of school due to lack of fees. This however did not kill our dreams, being the first born I had to work hard to ensure that I set the pace for the others to follow. After completing my high school, I enrolled for a craft course in Tailoring and embroidery and was luck to be employed at EPZ in Athi River. The working condition and young family forced me out of this and decided to start my own business.

My Business

My business involves selling of second hand and also new clothes. I buy the clothes in bales and do the sorting to have them washed, ironed and others repaired then dis[played for sale. I also from time to time sell the clothes door to door particularly to friends whom am sure they will buy because of the quality. My business is doing fine.

Loan Proposal

I first inform you that as I had promised you, the loan you granted me was helpful as I was able to construct a clothesline for display, this minimized space wasted earlier and I can add more stock, again most of my clothes on display are attractive and customers can make choice at ease. I now ask for your support to assist me with loan purchase mitumba clothes as they have great demand and can be purchased cheaply the i will modify them by washing, ironing and also sewing to make them more attractive. This time I will get Ksh 27000 i.e (270USD) and it will assist me obtain the mentioned stock. I will be able to increase sales and again repay this loan.
