My name is Denis Kipkurui Langat from Kiamunyi in the ouskirts of Nakuru town. I am 30 year old and married with one son; Kennedy aged 3 years.
I am the second born in a family of four.
Professionally, I studied a diploma course in business administration at African Institute of professional studies but have never had any formal job.
I have a retail shop in Industrial area where i sell mostly domestic consumables.
During my free time, i take nature walks and visit friends and family.
After looking for employment for more than one year without success, I decided to use my knowledge and skills to set up small businesses in Industrial area of Nakuru town. I have a retail shop where I sell fast moving domestic goods such as maize flour, sugar, rice, cooking oil, baking flour and detergents.
The business is good and has been able to sustain us for the last one year as well as help me do a few other farm projects home.
Owing to great demand for fast moving goods around the estate, I would like to expand my stock- to improve in variety and reliability in order to match my customer base.
I will therefore use all the $100 funds to add inventory of existing goods to my shop as well as introduce new products that have market.
This will improve my profits and enable me repay the loan with ease and also save more for other viable projects in future.
Thank you.
