About Me

im firstborn in a family of three .my mother is a single mother.i have two sisters one in highschool and the other in in std 8.i studied in tuigo primary school and then went to st joseph highschool.i am doing a mechanical engeneering (craft couse)in a project sponsered by kenyatta university.it has always been my responsibility to help my mom out.over school holidays and after i finished form four with grade C i would go with my neighbour he was like a father to me,to the building site where he works as the foreman.i would do small tasks and get paid.this is how i became a painter and i nurtured that skill learning all i could.
in my culture we love groundnuts we can even ground them and make flour which we can make ugali or porridge with it.when i came to nairobi groundnut is just anut that you fry to eat as asnack
i want to create a stable economic enviroment for my children to have the the freedom to choose.i love technology i love machines i studythem any time i get an opportunity

My Business

I am a painter.igo to aclients home or place he wants painted i assess the wall, some i give list of things wanted others i supply.and then i do the paint job.when i supply i would go buy the paint at wholesale price of 10$-13$and supply to client at 18-20$.i also hire out brushes to other painters depending on its width 1.50-2.50$per day.real estate is booming but there is very big competition for painters are so many so it must be high quality job and use high qquality brushes.in future i would want to keep a shop and sell all painting implements eg paints brushes rollers overalls the digital mixer the helmets wall filler and glues.on a typical job i make 50$,in hiring out my brushes 8$.i also sell the brushes having bought them at3-6$(different sizes)selling at 3.50-10$.painters are now going for rollers as market demands quality job and in done quickly i hire it out at3.50$.typical cost s are fare to industrial area to buy at wholesale from factories and to the sites i tr to keep it small by eating cheap meals and walking where it is possible
i help my mother out with my sisters fee i also buy a sofaset for myself and a tv .i want to have areally beautiful home for myself and have also bought new things for my sisters

Loan Proposal

i am going to buy more rollers at 6.50$ and either rent out at2$ and also increase my stock of brushes of assoted sizes starting at 0.5" to 6". This wide range will help me cater for different jobs especially those precise which require small brush such as window grills,at same time sell or rent out.this new stock will help in making customers know i can supply any type of roller or brush
