About Me

my names are Cecilia I come from a family of 8kids and am the 3rd born. I have a degree in information science of which I have not been able to get employment from that hence the reason why I decided to start my own business. I at first started by making juices and supplying at the market and then I started making ice and cold water which I sold at 5 ksh each, out of the savings which I had I talked to my elder sister who was able to add me some money which enabled me to atleast start a shop, though its small scale now my dream is one day I will become a wholesaler around this area. my business has enabled me to school my daughter who is now in class 7
and am doing so many other small things thus av been of help to my younger sisters and brothers.

My Business

my business is a retail shop which is selling things like sugar, tealeaves, salt, flour and so many things which can be sold at retail price this includes both perishable and non perishable goods. I therefore intend to grow my business and also be able to expand it by introducing other services like opening an Mpesa agent, distribution of gas and cylinders and opening a grocery shop since I have done a ficibility study and found out that those services are not being offered around this area hence people have to walk like a kilometre away to get the services. I know I will be able to achieve this goal through borrowing and improving my stock thus increasing my income.

Loan Proposal

I would like to increase my stock by buying whatever is not available and some stock are available but are not enough on the shelved. some of the items I need to buy are sugar 50 kg retailing at 5000/=, flour 12by 2kg retailing at 1400/=, a bag of charcoal retailing at 1000/= cooking oil 10kg retailing at 1450. if I will be able to add this product stock my income will increase so much and again my customers will be happy because they will not walk long distances to buy the products which will be of benefit to them. I expect to get a loan of like 10,000ksh out of which if I do business with it I will make like double the money.
