I am a Kenyan citizen born in year 1962 at Thika district, Gatuanyaga sub location. I started my primary school in Kilimambogo which is the village of my birth. later, i joined high school and did very well, however due to financial constrains, i joined a teaching college. i am a teacher by professional. i have worked in the education sector for a long time. I have work in various schools, therefore i have gained a lot of experience and always wished to own my own school. Fortunately an opportunity came beckoning. With the little amount from my savings, i rented a room and started remedial classes. I love soccer and volleyball, i also love drawing. I also read alot.
I have taken advantage of my profession as a teacher. For the past two years i have been conducting remedial tuition for students as part time. I have rented a single room for ksh 20000 (about 230 US dollars) where i tutor individual students for their exams. i have a population of 30 students. Each pays ksh 500 (about 6 US dollars) per month. this means that per month i earn around ksh 15,000 (about 164 US dollars) . I have been using the profits to support my children through their studies well as for basic needs.I also own a convenience store that sells food stuff.
Dear Lenders,
We have closed schools for a two months holiday. This means that the demand for remedial classes will be high. I will use the loan to rent an extra room at ksh 2,000 approximately (22 US dollars) this makes it (44 US dollars) for two rooms. i am targeting a total of 60 students, 30 in each class. with the increase in the number of students, i will use the remaining (54 US dollars) to hire an extra tutor and add more tuition materials like books and charts.
My income approximates are as follows,
30 students in each class, making a total of 60. each will pay 500 sh (6 US dollars) per month. this makes a total of approximately 30,000 per month (329 US dollars). the tuition will be on progress for two months, with which latter, plans of advancing to a full school will be underway. I hope my loan gets funded to enable me start right away. Thank you.
