My name is Samuel Ndungu Kinyanjui. I am a father of six. I live at bahati near the centre. My elder daughter is in form four while the last son is only 3 years old. The other four are in the primary school.
I deal with shoe business where I buy shoe accessories such as shoe soles, laces, polish and other parts. I also buy and sell new and old shoes as a retailer. I mend the old torn ones for those who need them mended. For new shoes the wholesale price depends on the type of shoes and the retailing price depend on the price at whole sale. On average, I make about Ksh 15000 per month which I use to pay the rent (Ksh 1500) for the room where I do business. I would wish to expand my business by adding more stock of the new shoes so that I can make more money. This is especially during the December season because the Kenyans buy new clothes and shoes during Christmas. If I could have a good stock, I expect to sell so much. I would also wish to stock the shop with the school shoes which do well during the new year as most of the students buy especially those joining other schools like form one. I also sell school bags which do well at the beginning of the year.
If the loan come at this time i will buy several pair of shoes to be used by the school going children. Our school calendar start now and shoes are in high demand .Old shoes require new soles ,i will buy several shoe soles so as to replace soles for those who cannot afford new shoes especially ladies
