My names are Miriam Njeri Kimani born in 1976 Iam MARRIED to one husband Sammy Gichuhi .
Iam blessed with 5 children ,three girls and two boys .One of my daughers schools at MAMA NGINA KENYATTA SEC ONDARY which is within Rongai District. One of my daughters dropped out of school because of lack of school fees and stays at home I dropped out of school early because my parents are poor and could not afford to secure my education.
I live in a rented house near Rongai Town because I was displaced from my home in Molo during the infamous post election violence of 2007-2008
I engage in a groceries bussiness . I sell many products such as carrots, sukumawiki , groundnuts and tomatoes One of the challenges I encouter is that my bussiness goes down especially when Itake my daughter to school at the beggining of the semester.Items at times cannot be easily gotten especially when there is drought .
I sell alot in a day to my customers because Iam charming and go an extra mile in cuttind the kales for them . Given a small loan of about KSH 20000 Ican boost my bussiness which is down at this time.
I will use the loan to upgrade my business and also open another small kiosk in kimangu area where i have noticed the lack a kiosk,am also intending to expand the current one so as to accommodate more stock as this days i have many customers and this forces me to buy sukumawiki (kale's) in bags and other goods i buy in large quantities so as to serve all the customers.Am thankful for the previous loan as it enabled me get more customers through supply without shortage.
