Iam Risper Shitanda ,I was born in Kenya ,Kakamega county ,My parents are Tom and Jescah Shitanda .I went to school at Mugunga primary school 1992-1999 then secondary school 2000-2003 and then went to Alpha College I pursued diploma in human resource management.2009-2012.Due to lack of jobs I decided to start business for up keep .
I started my business in the year 2013 that is immediately after college with a capital of ksh.5000 given to me by my father and now by the grace of God it has grown to around ksh.60000.The name of my business is called FAITH DAIRY SHOP.The stocks I do sell are house hold goods both consumables and non consumables this includes food stuffs, human, small boutique,I also have I have a dairy within the shop. the business makes approximately a gross profit of kshs 25000 (277 US Dollars) or income before these expenses. Nett profit usually fluctuates between ksh.12000 to ksh.18000 (US Dollars 130 to 210).I normally use the profits from my business as follows :40% to support family up keep ,10% to support my local church,30% I put back in business stock,20% savings.
The challenge I have in these business is lack of enough capital to stock ,while the strength I have is I have no competitors to my business because it is the only shop where I live.
I will buy 4 Shacks of sugar at 90 US Dollars for my shop keeping business.
This will create a lot of confidence with my customers and they will flock the shop and I will get more profit.
My shop will grow to about 20% this business year and the more /latter.
