My name is Kevin Mwenda, an ardent entrepreneur. I love God and Christ Jesus is my personal saviour. I am an environmental science graduate and a tailor. I was born in 1989 and I am a father of four children- two boys and two girls. My experience also ranges in marketing, product development- currently specializing in riding suits and safety apparel. I am also an expert in conducting Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental audit (EA) that has helped me to realize my dream of environmental safety and protection.
I began making riding suits to help motorcyclists have affordable riding gear that is also protective and in line with international standards. I have liaised with County Governments and other institutions on the best kinds of protective gear that would help to reduce accidents or fatal injuries if they occur and other requirements. As an environmental law student my work also involves conducting analysis and explaining the application of laws, by-laws, standard and codes in respect of safety wear in my company- Kevidah Ventures Limited.
I will appreciate if my loan application is considered and fully funded. Thank you lenders
As a renown tailor, I have regular requests to supply riding suits to motorbike clients, some wich I am unable to fulfil due to financial constraints. However, Zidisha is a reliable partner and I will utilize this financial resource to furnish my clients accordingly. I will use the loan to purchase more stock and produce more suits to sell. These suits are loved because of their durability, flexibility and general quality. These suits are cost-effective and affordable as compared to the expensive leather suits. Riders get the best value for their money. I chose this business due to my environmental protection background. After repaying the loan, I will use part of the profits to begin building an e-commerce website that will help me in marketing as well as selling my products online. Thanks
I will use it to buy material that I will use to make the suits. with time I hope it will grow to a substantial amount that would buy a machine for mending. I am also an EIA/EA consultant with community based education centers for the last 6 years with special attention on improving waste management and maintaining safety working environments. Upon finishing high school education in the year 2007, he was employed as a teacher at a local girls high school. This enabled him to learn and enhance women empowerment programs in the region. He joined Maseno University in 2009, where he was elected Vice Chairman of the campus environmental club known as MUESA. This was a good platform for Kevin to promote civic leadership and public management since the organization was a public/political entity. He was a member of the organization up until May, 2012; when he completed his college education and graduated on December, 2013. Currently, Kevin is self- employed as a freelance journalist and environmental management consultant. His area of expertise is Business and social entrepreneurship. He has acquired monitoring and evaluation skills as an intern at Mumias Sugar Factory (2013) and National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA-2012). Subsequentl
