About Me

I am Duncan Kariuki, and since childhood, I used to be very creative by that I mean coming up with funny stuff, like creating plastic cars, and sometimes using Plasticine. Later, that creativity changed to drawing and writing on anything I came across. Most of the time I found myself on the bad side of my Mum's law which a times would attract some beating. Despite finding myself against the odds, my dream continued. I joined School at Kianyambo Primary School after my Mum resigned from teaching and decided to take farming full-time.
Before we used to live in Nairobi, but my Mum change of plan allowed us to have a different twist of experience, that is growing around the slopes of Mt Kenya. Years moved fast, and I found myself in class eight and after that joined a day school in Nairobi. Again, I found myself in the city. The High School was known as Raval's Secondary School. Later, moved to boarding school in Meru, Njuri High School. Due to climate I changed to Joram G. Academy in Ngong where I finalized my form four exams.
After form four I always wanted to study economics, that led me to move to Uganda and joined A level at Hana Mixed Secondary School. There I pursued Economics, Literature, and Fine art. Life was not easy trying to adjust, taking new and challenging courses. Above all, I used to overcome due to my undying spirit to face challenges. After completing my A levels I came back to Kenya and joined East Africa School of Management, that is 2010 where I took ICT diploma course. In 2012 I joined a company called Goshen generation that used to deliver clients work online. For instance, I was tasked to integrate businesses with social media and providing S.E.O content. After I quit from the company, I have continued working online dealing with blogging, article writing, website creation, and e-book writing.

My Business

Three years back is when I opened electronic and mobile phone business, that has allowed me to expand in many ways. I started from the savings I had from my online work, and my vision is to expand more so that I can be able to deliver to the needs of my customers. The locality I chose to sell these goods, they are in high demand, and the reason I am different from my competitors is due to the understanding of my line of work, and delivery of quality products. That has allowed me to experience a repeat and referrals of many customers in the process.
So, my income comes from my current electronic business and my part time online projects. I chose this business because it is in my blood, and I can connect well with it and customers as well. So far I have been able to balance well each and every month, and that is due to discipline I had to integrate within me so as to have a progressive life without anything dragging me. So my income from the business helps me to pay house rents, tax, bills and for the upkeep. Currently, not married though soon I will adopting a whole human to feed.

Loan Proposal

I plan to buy a desktop with a capacity ranging from 250gb and that will allow me to speed up in my online work delivery. The exact amount I require is 15000 and it will benefit me by increasing my income to expand my electronic and mobile phone business. I foresee an increase ranging from 35000 profit per month.
