My name is Mercy Phiri, i am a Lusaka resident living in Makeni Villa compound and i am working at our community clinic as a midwife. And beside that i grow vegetables and maize and we sale the fresh maize and vegetables in the markets with my daughters. I am a mother and i am very much committed to paying their school fees. That is why i have always been working very hard to earn a good living out of my businesses for my family since i am a single Mother. Zidisha has been heard in our community and my friend felix told me about the Organisation and how it works and i was happy because i know i will benefit as much as he does. I am applying for a Loan to buy a bag of Seeds for Vegetables and Maize so that i can grow and i will be watering them using out newly installed irrigation system.
I am running a big garden of Vegetables and Maize and i sale them in the market with my daughters as i also pay their school fees through their help as a mother. I am trying to work very hard and all i need is a bag of seeds so that i grow in my garden. I was inspired by my parents because we used to survive through the vegetable garden and our family has been living a healthy life due to too much vegetables at home.
I am in need of $20 for the seeds so that i grow them in my prepared garden and this will give us a lot of income because i have prepared a very large space for maize and vegetables. And i will have a massive profit increase of about $600 and i am currently trying to finish what we already have in the garden.
