About Me
My name is Esther Njoki a residence of Githurai Progressive. I am married with one kid who is 2 years old. I completed my High School in 2005 and headed to Nairobi institute of Business to do a diploma in Business Management. I completed my course in 2010 but have not been lucky to get a job. I decided to start my own business of selling cakes and breads to my friends and local people living near Githurai. I have been able to sustain my family at some point since my husband's job does not pay well. He works in a milk company based at Ruiru in Nairobi. So far he has been able to fund my business and now we are planning to buy equipments that will ensure we bake the cakes at home.

I OPERATE A CAKE SHOP WHICH SERVES A LOT OF PEOPLE FOR ITS LOCATED ALONG A BUSY HIGHWAY.THOUGH THER ARE SOME CHALLENGES WHICH LESSEN THE INCOME SUCH AS PRESERVATION ,TRANSPORT,AND MARKET.
THE BUSINESS DEALS A LOT WITH FRESH PRODUCTS WHERE THE LACK OF PROPER STORAGE MAKES IT HARD TO HAVE LARGE STOCK AND A VARIETY OF CAKES. TRANSPORT MEANS HINDERS IN SUPPLYING IN A LARGE AREA .THE SHOP IS ONLY KNOWN IN MY SURROUNDING FOR MARKETING METHODS ARE MUCH EXPENSIVE .
IN FUTURE I WISH TO OPEN A BAKERY AND SCHOOL OF BAKING.A LARGE NUMBER WOULD WISH TO HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO BAKE TO ALSO OPEN CAKE SHOPS FOR THEY ARE SO SCARSE MAKING THE PRODUCT VERY EXPENSIVE.WITH MANY BAKING IT WILL MAKE PEOPLE LESS FORTUNATE TO AFFORD THE PRODUCT.
IN THE COUNTRY TO OPEN A TRAINING CENTRE THERE ARE THE REQUIREMENTS THEY REQUIRE INORDER TO ATTAIN THE LICENCES. THEREFORE I WISH TO ADVANCE MY KNOWLEDGE BY TAKING THE HOSPITALITY AND CATERING COURSE WHICH WILL NEED A LOT MONEY FOR ITS COMPLETION.THE LICENCE ALSO NEED MONEY FOR THEM TO BE PROCESSED FULLY.
THE BAKERY WILL NEED MACHINERY AND MAN POWER WHICH WILL REQUIRE TO BE PROPERY FINANCED FOR THE BUSINESS TO RUN SMOOTHLY.ALSO THE EMPLOYEES ARE GIVEN THEIR ALLOWANCES SUCH AS HOUSE AND TRANPORT.AS AN EMPLOYER AM REQUIRED TO REGISTER MY EMPLOYEES WITH THE NSSF FOR THEIR SECURITY IN OLD AGE.THUS WOULD REQUIRE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO MAKE MY DREAM COME TRUE AND BETTER THE LIVES OF MANY IN MY COUNTRY.I WANT TO LEAVE FOOTPRINTS BOTH DEEP AND WELL ALIGNED FOR OTHERS TO FOLLOW.AM APPEALING TO YOU TO MAKE THIS COME TO TRUE.
Loan Proposal
I intend to buy an oven that will help me bake more cakes of high quality and price. I will also be able to save time since i use the traditional baking system which takes long. When my business flourishes i will save money that will help me go back to school and do a diploma in hospitality management. I believe by January i will have attained that level. I promise not to fail if given the loan. Thank you
