Currently I have 200 layers consuming two bags of layers mash per week, @ Kshs. 2600 per bag, giving a total cost of Kshs. 10,400 per month and a medical attention of Kshs. 300 per month. During the month the layers will have laid an average of 168 trays of eggs. This eggs sold at a wholesale price of Kshs. 240 will give a total amount of Kshs.40, 320. If you less the cost of rearing during the month, this will gives a good profit.

I have i plan to increase the number of the birds to enable to cope easily with the demands of the daily chores.30000 will go chicks which currently goes at 100 per chick.10000 within the first month will go to feeds in calculation as they mature the feeding cash will increase as they will demand more feed.So with the remaining months i will divide the cash to see it fits to the feeds and vaccines for medicare.Considering the manpower,transportation,lighting for warmth i believe the cash will be of help to see me growing to a higher heights.Thanks in advance
