My name is Memory Phiri i come from a humble background and i raised in the rural area or outskirt of town,i group with Auntie who took care of me since i was a child when my parents died.I was sent to Chiwempala Primary School and later move Lulamba Secondary School in Chingola in town. When i completed my high school i obtained a school certificate with a merit and i selected to at Evelyn Hone College to study Pharmacy for three year and thereafter i graduated.I was young i had dream of the community as i was raised the rural area or village were access for medical is very difficult due to this fact my dream was to become health medical officer and open my chemist or clinic in the village to people there and access medical.Hence when i graduated my was first go the village and set up a clinic and chemist for people to access drugs.I wish the children of mine to go and study abroad and acquire more knowledge in the medical fields.
I ran both a clinic and a chemist, i therefore provide drugs for varies diseases for the people in the community. At the clinic i provide all health matters related in sickness, maternal health and as in past most mothers suffered a lot as there was clinic near by in village most mothers with pregnant died prematurely.I choose this sector of business of passion for medical health and caring for patient.I invested a sum of K 40000 to build both the chemist and the clinic, therefore i generate little profits because i dont charge people a lot money they only membership fees to help cater other clinical cost. The little profits generate is used to buy drugs, mosquitoes and pay the workers and 2 nurses so far which i have employed at the clinic.I therefore generate more than K 6500.00
I need to buy additional drugs at the chemistry and malaria equipment as this season there is break of the tropical disease in Zambia, i need to ensure that i help the community by contributing in eradicating or combating malaria through providing good help care to pregnant woman in the community.I K 15, 000 to buy the drugs and the equipment for malaria. Thank you so much lenders for supporting my project.
