i was named Sharon by my parent who gave birth to me in Bomet county. i schooled at St Thomas primary school for eight years, later joined Kaplong Girls secondary school and proceeded to Kenyatta University for higher education taking a course in business management.
I loved being self reliant and this always pushed me to working very had to establish my own business or source of income, i had learnt from my mother how to make ornaments, bracelets and some traditional decorations from our community. with my savings, i leased a shop in town and started making and selling this ornaments. To date that has been my business as i continue applying foe white collar jobs.
I started my business in Nairobi town near the Achieves building and what i call unique in Nairobi is competition.
i sale ornaments and decorations that i make myself. This services are useful because it helps enhance beauty in ladies. The demand for the same is equally high because since i am strategically positioned in town where many people pass as well as tourists i am able to sale my items and make good money.
I chose this business because i required very little capital to start up this business, i had the knowledge of making this curves and i just required money to lease a shop in town and start the business.
I have been using the profits that i make to continue growing my business, support my ailing mother at home who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.
given this loan, i will send the money home to my father in addition to some money that i have made from my business so that my mother can be taken to hospital for her therapy exercises.
I have a total of 95 us dollars, given 5 us dollars, i will have a total of 100 us dollars and this will really support my mother as she goes through her cancer therapy tests.
