I am Timothy Ong'ongo 26 years old.I was born in Nakuru county and raised in a family of twelve children i being third born.Life was not that good because my parent didn't have good job to boost up their life and that of there children and support them in their academic in school.I went to school in Terry Primary School where i finished and pass with flying colors unfortunately my parents could not afford to pay for my school fees.I started working on peoples farms nearby my neighbors at least to earn my living.I loved the job because i was used to it and nothing i could have done with class eight certificate.I developed a passion on the farming and the small land that i inherited from my living father i started cultivating on it.Also in future i would love to be a large scale farmer and have a grain store of y own and be a father who will his family the best and take my kids to the best schools.
Am a small scale farmer my 'shamba' is located at Molo kwa shiera road third shamba on your left hand side just after tar mark road.I do provide goods to my customers like:vegetables, maize, beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes. My goods are on demand because am well known as a very hardworking man and my goods are fresh.I chose being a farmer because i loved the job and one can make high a mount of profit via farming. My farming cost per six months is $450 and a profit of $600.My profit i use to save so that in future i will start selling farming inputs and part of it i use to support myself and my family too.
I thank you very much for your support, you have really help me change my life.I have come back to you again so that you can help me do a smart farming this coming planting season. This is how am going to spend the loan:
-$100 am going to use in leasing another one more acre for maize planting because am planing to increase my yield this year.
-$150 i will be using in land preparation that is to pay for ploughing and farm general labor work.
-$80 i will use to buy high breed maize seeds then $120 to buy D.A.P fertilizer so as when the rains fall i will be ready for smart farming. These will allow me to do my farming without any problem hence high return is expected.
