Am a 29 year old Kenyan, who hails from a remotely area called Mariakani, i was raised in a family of four; one girl and three boys, i being the first born. my education background is that i have o' levels and technical certificate which i obtained from a a local polytechnic. having been raised as the first born i was always taught t be a leader and be exemplary to my other sibling meaning being a leader you have to sacrifice your self for others. after the o,levels i decided to join the polytechnic which was to cost me less but to start making money within a short period of study since i was going to employ myself, in the polytechnic i undertook a certificate in fabrication and welding. after going through the course i decide to venture into business to assist my family which was financially strained. i started as a an employee in one of the juakali sector (Juakali meaning the way we hustle under the hot sun the whole day) around my place till 2014 January when i started my own workshop. my unique hobby is the spirit of generosity and the spirit to fight.
in the Juakali sector we handle a range of many thing which we offer as services to our clients, what i commonly undertake is: i make metal doors and windows (which form 85% of my income generating services), general metal repair and soldering. this business is good and i choose it because there is always demand for my goods as people are always in need of doors and windows for their newly built houses. the business is picking up since it started. i use the profits from the business to expand the business it self, sustain my self and the rest to support my family at large.
If given the loan i will use the loan to purchase a Constant current welding machine. which will boast my productivity in the terms of the number of windows and a doors i make a day. this will also help in the repairs of trucks and trailers since i happen to be situated along the main highway from Mombasa to Nairobi Kenya. this will see me boast my income generation. i i get this welding i project to increase my profits by 25%. the profits generated will help me expand my business and improve the living standards of my family.
