I was born in Nthongoni location, Mtito Andei division in Kibwezi east Sub-County. I started my primary education at Mwitasyano primary. Thereafter I joined Kithing’iisyo secondary school form my secondary education. After I completed my form four course in 2012 our father passed away leaving me without nobody to pay school fees for me to further my education. After that I decided to go to town and find a job so that I can help my dear sisters and brothers to continue with their education. In Mariakani town I met with a cyber owner who promised to teach me how to use computer and later employ me as a client attendant. After two weeks I had known how to use the computer then he employed me at a basic salary of Ksh. 5,000 per month. I saved the money until it was enough to start my own cyber and operate it. I am now helping my entire family and am looking forward for a lender like you to help me purchase more computers and photocopy papers.
My business is located at Kaloleni stage about 20m from Mariakani to Kaloleni highway next to celebration building. I offer the following services:- printing, photocopy, lamination, binding, scanning and internet services. There are schools without photocopy machine so they forced to come and photocopy there documents in my cyber. Other people come from far places like Taru, Kaloleni, Bamba and Samburu for computer and internet services. I had created a loyalty with my client from my previous employer hence i now serve the better at my place. Most of my cost are restocking of stationary and utility bills,I am the sole worker as the business is at start up. most of the money paid for service and stationary sold are the sole income to my business.I am able to educate my sisters and brothers back at home which was difficult from my previous job. I save some money for expansion as i started the business with only one computer and now i have added two out of my savings. I intend to open a computer classes to help other young people who may not have money to join colleges hence help them acquire skill for their livelihood .
Having grown from scratch to where the cyber is now, its a challenge to fund all equipment needed with my little capital, I appeal to you to help me buy a new Epson printer at a cost of KES 20914 so that I can be able to print photos and passports for my customers instead of referring them to other cybers. Thank you lenders who give me the first loan which has helped me serve my customers well.
