Am a mother of six children living here in mtwapa and doing my business here in mtwapa as well. I live in my own house here in mtwapa. My first child is a boy and he is twenty years old and finished school the second is a boy and he's eighteen years old the third is a girl aged sixteen years old fourth and fifth are twins aged ten years old and the last is a girl aged five years old. I started doing business as a way of earning a living because my educational background could not make me get a reasonable job. With the income i get from the business i buy food for my family and other family needs.
I do business here in mtwapa. my business is mainly selling of charcoal, and i also sell chips, mahamri and potatoes(viazi karai) This business is doing very well here in mtwapa. because of the high population in this area. This business is profitable and i have ready customers. In this business face risks like when it rains, this is a big problem because i work in the open and its hard to do the business when it rains. In my business i get an income of ksh 20,000 per month, with this amount i use ksh 6,000 paying school fees, ksh 5,000 for buying food for my family and i save ksh 9,000 per month. With this amount i can use to repay my zidisha loan if granted.
Hello, i have a reason to smile as i now have a good chance of improving my business. My thanks to go to the entire zidisha team for the hard work and devortion towards my loan application. Being in a small scale business is a big challenge since funds are usually limted, but with a boost from this loan i will have a good reason of maitaining my customers by providing them with what they require.
