Kanvili - Tuunaayili is one of the poorest farming communities in the Northern Region of Ghana. My life in this community is one of the ugliest experiences I find it difficult to share because, I weakens me emotionally. Despite the struggles, I have attended Kanvili Community Day School and went and learnt hairdressing after completion. Currently, I am a hairdresser here in Kanivili-Tuunayili, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana.
Hairdressing is a kind of business I passionately enjoy doing, aside the financial benefits. It is a business that makes me to always forget about the horrible aspect of my life. As part of my work, I fix hair, finger and toe nails, eye lashes for my clients (mostly ladies). I also sell hair, nails and eye lashes in the salon. Because I started not too long, I use major part of the profits to buy relevant tools and items needed at the salon.
