About Me

My name is Charity Mukwamba. i was born in 1982 from Lusaka Zambia. i started my grade 12 from Lizingamina basic school in 1990. i learned at the same school until my grade 7 and in 1996 i then moved to Maamba secondary boarding school. I was at Maamba secondary from my grade 8 in the year 1997 until my final grade 12 2001.
In 2002. my aunt introduced me to a grocery shop business as she would get me to Namibia with her to order affordable groceries to come and resale in Lusaka Zambia and in the long run i got used to the trips that even when she would stay back home, i could travel for orders alone by only being told what to buy as we only got things that moved fast.
While she would send me to order things alone after being introduced to the grocery shop business, she would also tell me to stay in the shop so i could understand things about money and how to handle customers and she would pay me something for saving in her shop at the end of the month so those money's also helped me to overcome a few challenges.
During that same period, i remember i started thinking of running my own business at some point and so i started to save towards the same plan i had and when i told my aunt about that, she was very happy and so she gave me some money to empower me in 2005.
The Land i live in has a few shops and most big shops are quiet distant to reach so i have a unique grocery shop with most foods and cleaning materials suitable for most households.
I have a very lovely some who is 10 years old and he keeps on saying he wants to become an aircraft engineer so i work hard to manage sponsor him into school.
My hobbies are making friends, going to the library and traveling.

My Business

I have a grocery shop that has things like washing soap, break, butter, sugar, rice and cooking oil as i also sale other cleaning materials.
My goods are on demand because my shop is the only shop near their residential homes as other shops are distant from the area they live in.
I chose this kind of business because i understand how it works and i know how to order things that are on demand.
When i invest $35, i manage to get back $70 after all my total sales within a short period of time.
I use my profits to sponsor my son into school and also home improvements

Loan Proposal

I will buy things like bread, washing soap, butter and salt for my grocery shop worth $10.00.

This will benefit me to having an increased rate of profit and I will also supply a lot of things to my community.

I expect my profits to increase with. $30percebt
