Hello Zidisha team.I am Agnes Wanjiru Mwangi.I was born in Nakuru county within Mwariki farm.I went for my formal education within the same area.
After my High school,I relocated to Nairobi for my tertiary course at NIBS college until I graduated for a front office diploma.
Later I went on to look for an employment within Nairobi but I did not got one which made me to relocate to Thika town, about 35 kms from Nairobi.
Today I am a proud self employed and I thank God for this far.Thank you.
Having been started a small wine and spirit pub in the year 1915,I have been fully indeependent to supplement my home budget from my able husband.
I statred my pub with the little amount my husband gave me to start a small business. My business is called Aggressive Wines & spirits Joint, located at the heart of Thika town.I mostly ply a P.S.V matatu to and from my working place on a daily basis.
Since my type of business is regulated by the county by-law,I have to open from 5 pm to 11 pm daily.
With the tough regulations to undertake before you are renewed the business operating license, has left with most of my competitors closing down the businesses, hence leaving a room for me to expand more, since I have done all it requires for the renewal of my business license.
With the financial boost rendered upon my business,my business will improve more by purchasing more hard drinks, like vodka, whisky, bottled beers,e.t.c,hence will provide my services to most people with the drinks of their choice.Thank you.
