About Me

I am a Kenyan lady aged 25 years old. I come from a big family of eight. Unfortunately due to the lack of financial stability I have not been able to complete my studies. I am very ambitious, goal oriented, and hardworking. I heard of zidisha from a close friend and neighbor. She advised that I could make use of the charitable platform to eventually complete my education, and later advance my self through a small food retailing business. I am committed and willing to work hard and emerge a better individual with an outstanding educational and financial background in the long run.
Ever since i joined zidisha, despite the challenges i have faced, i am at least a step closer to where i want to be in life.

My Business

My online business took a toll towards the end of last year where i was a victim of robbery but luckily my life was spared and my health was left in tact as well. Due to loosing my laptop, i was had difficulty in maintaining my finances, since i could not afford to also pay for the relevant checks and licences related to my fish supply business.
I was later able to join a local women's group which assisted me to get back on my feet without interfering with my studies. through them i got a new computer and was able to revive my online business, which now includes content writing, amazon product reviews and transcription.
I earn approximately 3500ksh weekly from both business, since i do them part time. Using the small businesses I will be able to repay the required amount of 500ksh weekly, while comfortably pursuing my studies. I thank zidisha for enabling me to continue with my educational journey to finally become an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountant).

Loan Proposal

If I manage to get the loan, I will be able to register for the course (ACCA) on time. The current intake is ongoing at the university and it will cost me around $50 I will use $130 to pay for the Annual (ACCA) subscription fee. The remaining $20 will enable me to get stationery that I will need to help me get started in class.
