My names are James Mwangi from Naivasha. I was born in 18th May 1988 in Naivasha District, Kabati village. I attended my primary school in kabati Primary school in Naivasha while later my parents migrated to Karagita while we were forced to school for a far distance but we made because we had passion in education. I joined my secondary school in Mirera secondary school while I learned until 2006 and took my O level certificate.
After my O level education, I was not able to join my courage because I was raised by my single mother parent and there was my young brother who had to sit on my chair so that he can get what I had for the past four years. That when I decided to migrate to Nairobi for a greener pasture. I joined matatu section as a matatu conductor but I dropped due to unlimited job time. Wake up at 4:00 A.M. and bed time 00:00. Later on I joined G4S security after I saw an advertisement in the street. Life was so tricky when I was a matatu conductor while there was a day job and no job while there was other days we would go to bed without food but all was well because I believed I can.
I was recruited in G4S security, where I went induction in South C, which was very tricky, walking from Kayole to South C on foot and I had no cash to take lunch even thou I was staying with my uncle I saw it was not good to ask him for food and shelter too. Life in Nairobi I can write 500 pages without seize because was a straggle from day one to until my departure.
After I joined G4S my aim and goal was to work hard so that I can start my own business which was to start a cyber café. I worked for my goal for four years which it came true and I started it in Naivasha as it was the place I was dispatched to work after I joined G4S. Which was my added advantage because it was my home land.
In Naivasha the business as I am in that field from 2012 to date is one unique thing I can narrate to. We work more during end months and during mid months which it has keep us going until now. Dust during the month of February until March when the rain will come is also the unique thing in this place. Much dust as we are in the semi-desert area, I really like this place, it makes me love my country so much.
My first born is called Stephen Mwangi, he is only 10 years. Today he told me he wants to be a police man, he want to be a superman, he want to be a doctor so that he can put injection to the people who are disturbing him. So my boy is still young he has much to face and narrate to me.
What I like most is hiking and to be silent when I am alone so that I can think about my future.
For the past Ten years I have been dealing with cyber services in full that is photocopies, also because of phone technology I decided to open a cereal and poshomill. This job has been very much successful to me which I have done a lot with it, in projects like paying my child school fees, building my family shelter and the most important one buying food and clothing to my family.
Thus, I have thought of another project that is buying of animals and selling which I can see to be a nice job too. I am interested in this business while I know and I have seen my friends to be successful in it. For now I have more than 30 sheeps in my farm and I need more in this business. I am selling a sheep a good price and I know if a Marge a little bit in the animal market I will make good money.
For the past four years I have been working in Cereal Shop, This has been a great job to me whereby I wish it for a growth untill I buy for it a Vehicle for fetching the Cereal items in the Farms. For this amount even if is not a big one I would Like to use it to buy Just a Sack of maize which it will generate a profit on a dairy basis of 300 Kenyan Shillings which I will use to repay in 6 weeks.
