I am a recent graduate of a degree course in public health. Thus in the pursuit of searching for employment and fending for myself, I decided to sustain my life through selling clothes and shoes. This business ensures that I get enough funds to sustain my lifestyle and ensures that I grow it in gradual steps to a fully fledged enterprise.
I started off my business by selling two pairs of rubber shoes from the little pocket money I had. From the profit obtained I went ahead to buy more shoes because of high demand, especially rubber shoes and clothes that are in high demand especially among the youth who are fashion savvy. I have been operating from home and I would like to expand my business by establishing a stall/shop where I can sell my merchandise in the next two to three months. I mostly deal in ladies' shoes and clothing and I would like to include jewelry and accessories into my business.
The funds obtained shall be used to purchase inventory for my business as follows:
KES 15,000 spent on new stock (300*50 pairs of shoes) = 15,000
KES 8,000 spent on new clothes venture
KES 7,000 spent on books & living expenses
I expect to generate around KES 40,000 over the period that shall be used in paying for the loan and catering for my living expenses.
