About Me

My name is Mwape chibelo,I was born in the year 1991 to Dennis Chibelo (deceased) and Rosemary Musonda Chibelo. My dad used to work for Zambia Railways and my mother was just a house wife. Life took a turn in 1996 when my dad was retrenched from work as the reforms that time required that company should either downsize it workforce or be privatised. Things got worse when my parents divorced, dad 4elocated to the village while mum later got married in the capital city Lusaka. I started staying with mum because my step father liked me as I was smart at school, however, calamity struck again as my step father passed on when I was I junior secondary school and two years later my biological father also passed on. when I passed to go yo senior secondary school my mother(widow) didn't have money but because of my performance in school I was taken up for sponsorship by an organisation called the Kingsgate college under the "Say Yes" grant, the organisation was heading by Richard Batrup (now late) and the wife Janet Batrup . unfortunately, when I passed to go and do my tertiary the grant only chartered for lower levels of of education. It is in this period of life where I developed entrepreneurial skills. I started selling ladies suits which I used to order from neighbouring Tanzania,I had to think outside the box during the global crunch as the dollar went high compared to the kwacha. I relocated to the Eastern part of Zambia (chipata) where I ventured into transport business as well as farming. I arrived at this decision because chipata is a developing place(recently declared as a city) and also it is second largest food basket in the nation plus its friendly people. my vision is to see my business ventures grow in the next five years as well as to extend to the needy in society as I have promised to also help as I was once helped. During my free time I love reading novels, watching soccer and visiting new places.

My Business

I own a small bus ( transportation business). This small bus ferry people from one point to another, being a developing city people used to rely on bicycles for movement but this has eased the movement for the people.
Before i get to the field of my work, i make sure the bus has enough fuel for the day which costs $12 which earns me $20 minimum in a day and $100 weekly. The money realised from my business is used as follows, part of it is used for servicing the bus and part of it is for the purchase of day to day needs at home.

Loan Proposal

I will buy fuel 7.5 Litres at $1.3 per litre. This will in turn give income and it will also ease movements for people from all walks of life. I will make $20 at the ending of the week meaning a profit of $10 will be realised.
