My name is Magret Phiri I am a 30 year old female who resides in Lusaka Zambia shantumbu chalala. I have a husband and 5 children whom I support entirely. I have a small farm that I started about 5 years ago when I first acquired some personal land of my own. I am a small scale commercial farmer, for 5 years I haven't been in any formal employment but my crops have been able to sustain my household together with paying of school fees of all of my 5 children.

My Business

I am a small scale farmer. I grow various crops which include vegetables and maize which I sale to marketers and also for home consumption. My business has been sustaining my family for 5 years now and I am happy to say that it has been sustaining my household financially.

Loan Proposal

Good day dear lenders, in the past weeks I was able to rent a ploughing truck and was able to clear out some land. As my farm only had crops and vegetables I have a new plan to engage in some other items like fruits and legumes. I intend on growing strawberries which have an upcoming vast market especially since the pandemic international fruits and vegetables have become more expensive and the prices are continuously going to hike the coming months. I think I have a huge potential growth if I can grow some fruits aswel.

Income Source

Yes, businesses do face risks. But with the current situation with the pandemic, I have been able to engage with more marketers and have my network has grown giving me more clientele. I always have business by the time its 2PM most of the vegetables I set aside for sell for a specific day are already finished. I know I will be able to pay back wiyu ease.
