About Me

I am Vivian Otunga born at Kakamega County. i have been a resident of kakamega since childhood till adulthood. i started my primary education at township primary school from standard 1 to standard 8. i therefore proceeded to secondary school at Igunga Girls High school where i performed well. i never managed to proceed to university level due to fees problems and therefore started doing business for my self saving money so that one time i could proceed with my studies. i started with a small kiosk where i used to sell home basics just for my survival and also for the family survival. My passion in passion in business has grown since then and therefore admire to expand my business so as to increase the profits and the needs of my customers.

My Business

i sell food staffs like sodas, breads, cakes and different types of refreshments like milk and youghuts to my customers. this types of goods are very high on demand not only in summer times, but during the cold weather whereby my customers are very alternative whereby they could by anything else i have instead of the other. this type of business, is flexible whereby customers are readily available at all time and there is no shift of pick and off-pick periods. There is also increased number of customers during lunch hours and this makes me to make large profits of between ksh.6000 to ksh.7000 monthly.

Loan Proposal

I will spend Ksh7000 in hiring 2 more fridges so as to improve the sale on fresh drinks. this will really help me preserve the drinks for a very long time for the benefit of my customers. it will also enable me buy enough stock so as to avoid losses. I'll spend Ksh3000 to buy more seats and tables so as to enable my customers to have a good and comfortable place when taking and refreshing themselves. Ksh3000 will be spend in buying more fresh drinks not available in my retail shop currently so as to serve more customers efficiently. The drinks not available in my retail shop are like Pepsi drinks and some different brands of sodas. i believe this will attract more customers into my retail shop. Ksh3500 will be spend in buying snacks and any other forms of food that can be taken in hand with drinks. this will really enable me increase my profits. Ksh2500 will be set aside for any needs that arises during my hand of duty at my working place. i believe this will enable me increase my business and also increased my profits a lot and also improve my life at a higher rate.
