About Me

My name is Fernard Mutombo born in 11th of June,1979 in Lusaka.I am the sixth born in the family of 11 and also a father of three children,thus two girls and one boy.I grew in a humble family and managed to complete my secondary education and through a small scale business i managed to take myself to college of which i did business administration and marketing.despite growing in a competitive community,it was perseverance and hard work which made me archive some goals.
After working for several companies, i realized to start my own thing through the capital i raised which has pushed me to where i am.am a proud Zambian who has patriotism for my country because its a land where everyone is free to bring out their ideas and plans as long as they stick to it.
My first born child aims at becoming a medical doctor if she does well in intergrated sciences.some want to become teachers.
I love watching and playing football.

My Business

I have diverged my business from the grocery to Laptops., even when the grocery is still working properly and also offering my good on wholesale., I still have to deal in other businesses and especially that I have tried once,. It will bring more revenue and be able support other small businesses I open since I joined Zidisha. I cant say much but all I can say is that Zidisha has made me stand on top of the Market. I have now started dealing good second hand Laptops, Printers and Smart Phones from South African dealers. And I have rented a place for the and because I am expecting this Loan I am applying for to order these new goods to stock my new shop. Thank you Zidisha and my Lenders for great and wonderful support to my Businesses and the well being of my Family.

      Thank so much Mr Will, actually am working hard daily to ensure that my dreams come true with zidisha loans and maintain repayment on time.Come December 25th i want repay my loan in full and post new loan due to the growth of my retail shop.This time around i want the loan to help me buy a Car or a Van to help in the transportation of retail goods.Due to the expansion of the business i need my own transport to reduce the high cost of transport at the moment.Your help again will definitely make my dreams come true.Thanking you in advance.

    Zidisha loan has helped me greatly despite economic challenges, the profits am generating are assisting me to pay schools fees for my children, renovate the family house and also improve the standard of living.I can only thank Julia the Director and the lenders for making it possible for me to have access to Zidisha Loans.I also pray that Zidisha should also continues empowering the people in Africa because poverty levels are very high.I dont know how my life would have been without Zidisha.My God Bless the main founders of Zidisha and the Lenders who have supported the funding of loan.

    My business has drastically gone due to economic challenges in our and our currency has droped against the dollar currency.Hence trading of commodities has taken another shape in business.I can only afford to pay smaller amount as i wait for businesses to improve as am still facing challenges at the moment.

    Dear Zidisha, i have serious complaint with the institution i dont what happened there but my concern is that communication has become very difficult or it has become a barrier now days, Going to the Forum for you to receive feedback it also becoming very difficult, it is either 2 to 3 three weeks, please do something to make communication is easy for all well meaning Zidisha members like me.

    Madam Julia please do something to allow us to communicate fast and receieve feedback this will help us resolve challenges we have gone through since January this year.

      Thank you very much Laurie, despite whatever challenges Zidisha has been going through they have caused a number of people to get discouraged and disappointed of what has happened to Zidisha team/staff
      1. Communication barrier, suddenly stopped paying out and this is the major reason why most people have been not happy.
      2.To be honest Zidisha should have been working closely with the V/M,in different countries by giving them motivation,however this should be worked for Zidisha even before its staff left the institution.
      3.Because of none payments of loan and delayments in disbursing the loans that has been also the major contribution for Zidisha.
      4. Most borrowers today think that Zidisha is no longer the way it used to be.
      5.As V/M i became a redundance becuase of none activity at Zidisha, am saying this because most members thought Zidisha V/M can help, as they receive Information from Zidisha staff.When that became difficult also many got discouraged about Zidisha loans, therefore most borrowers now became skeptical about Zambia.

      Laurie as a concerned member of Zidisha who has been with Zidisha for some time i could not understand why things became like this with Zidisha, you also left unexpectedly and support ticket also became a redandance or it was removed.It was said that you take or raise your concerns to the forum which also proved difficult to some members and equally my self.Despite the challenges so far the institution is going through we should have been told clearly that Zidisha suspended the creation of new loans, no disbursements until further notice due to a number of issues outlined, therefore those with outstanding loans can continue repaying as the institution is working on internal issues because good borrowers we have been directly affected,for now am even wandering if should completed my loan today i wonder how soon should that be possible for me to post the new loan and receive the loan in good time.Crediting of loan nowdays is an issue, hence as a well meaning member of Zidisha i hope Julia the director who happens to be my render can have the opportunity to this post as well, can take keen interest to look at look at the concerns raised above.I have excercised maximum patience since the begining of this year now this is May, still nothing has happened to see change or rather see this platform of Zidisha operate the way it use to be since i joined as member in 2016.

    My business at the moment has taken a different dimension,am experiencing low sales turn over hence i have decided to reduce to avoid account being in red and my repaying late should the sales business go up i will readjust to the usual wekly repayments.
