Am Julius Ouma Nyandega I come from Homabay county ,Rachounyo north district, east karachuonyo division, Rambira location, kamser sub location kanyango village.Am a teacher by profession Diploma level.I started the school business with a goal of changing life of orphans and vulnerable pupils through quality education and getting some funds for my survival. Have purchased text books, desk and some households since I started. We have also enabled some disadvantaged families to access primary and secondary education. My hobbies is reading novel and watching football.
The services my school offers is quality education to our pupils. There is demand for our services because we offer quality to our customers and in addition to that, we are currently supporting twenty vulnerable and orphans children's at no cost. My customers prefer our services because, they trust service delivery rendered to their pupils compared to our competitors. In 2008 when the vision of helping vulnerable and orphaned children access education was conceived, with an aim to promote millennium goal 2 which promotes primary education for all children, there was an inner drive that could be seen in terms of effort. This saw the birth of St. Francis Progressive Learners Centre. The center began with 5 children and has grown to current 212 children within the age bracket 3 years to 15 years. The center is driven by a passion for compassion and holistic child care for Child in Especially Difficult Circumstance (CDC), Child in Need of Special Care and Protection (CNSCP), Orphaned and Vulnerable Child. My business is more profitable because we have a total of 212 pupils and only 20 pupils are supported at no cost, hence there is surety of repaying the loan perfectly. Our customers are just members of the community, currently we have 212 pupils. I will use the loan to buy more textbooks that will help reduce our textbook to pupil ratio from 1:4 to 1:2.I will also use the loan to expand our feeding programme. We expect to admit more pupils after this is achieved. My monthly collection is 2344USD and my expense per month is USD1704.I use my profit to re invest, home improvement and support orphans and vulnerable children's
I will use the loan to purchase textbooks of Maths,Science,English and Life skills costing $705 and purchase 20kg of beans, 20kg of maize, 30kg of rice and 50kg of maize flour costing $352 to expand my feeding programme. The benefit will be improved academic performance by pupils,Improved admission of pupils as a result of good performance,More profit from the expanded feeding programme hence more support of orphans and vulnerable child because is it from this profit that we support them at no cost.I expect to make a profit of $104 per month.
