About Me

I was born in 1986 at a kipyemit village in kericho kenya being the first born of seven children 4girls and three boys . My parent is mr and mrs chepkwony .
I joined school in 1992 that is nersery school and in 1994 i was promoted to class one in kiletien primary school upto 2003 i did my KCPE and the following year that was 2004 i joned chepsir secondary school. In 2008 did KCSE that is when i complete my high school.
After schooling i was employed as cowboy by my neighbour to look after the cattles with a salary of sh4000 a month. I work for one year having save sh30,000 and that i was able to start my business . Before i start i reseach s lot of businness ideas until i come up with farming because of the demands of farming products in our local market.
I would like my chilldren to do with cola jop since farming have alot of challenges and also
being farmer you can not get free time to have your hobby mine i like to brouser the internet and learn.

My Business

Iam a farmer who grows maize,bean and potatoes . Maize is consume locally by the resident and outside the county while potatoes is for making chips mainly in towns and even in our small town the demand is do high.
I conside farming because of soil in our area is suitable for growing of maize and potatoes and also availability of market in our local market.
I have 2acres which i rent one for maize mixed with beans crops and the other for potatoes .maize can take 6 months to mature while beans and potatoes can take 3months to mature so every 4months i can have beans and potatoes . This year i havest 70 bags of potatoes and 4 sags of beans while maize is still in the farm . I sale each bag of potatoes for 1500 sh making sh105,000 while beans sale each 6,000Sh each msking 24,000sh the profit was sh100,000.
The profit a can use yo psy ft our kids school fees and save some since i want to buy a plot

Loan Proposal

The loan i can use to expand the farming of maize and potatoes . With the help of the loan i can rent more farm and buy farming input like fartilizers and harbicides . So i the output will be good for demand in the market and outside our local market
