I was born in kariene village where I grew in a family of five children. my father died when I was seven years and left my mother with poverty in which we grew in till I completed my form four attaining D plain grade. then a well wisher helped me to join a collage where I trained as dressmaker and a designer in the year 2008. After I completed my collage I stayed home helping my mother
At the village. However life became hard hence I decided to look for employment in the city Nairobi and found one in a relative tailor shop with salary 2,000 KES per montht. With salary I made savings for two year I bought sewing machine and opened my own tailoring and design shop where am earning a living from. besides am a mother of two with a loving husband from kisii county. My hopes are singing and dancing.
My business is a tailoring and design shop which mainly I deal with the production of all types of clothes men dress and women dress. I choose this business becouse of demand was high in my locality and because clothes are basic needs hence nobody can live without clothes. My business has been in operation for more than 5 years, my sale is more than 15,000kes per week from which i make a profit margins of not less 4,000 kes a week. The profits I make help me to pay my bill, reinvest back to my business and make some savings.
