About Me

MY STORY
My name is Asheeka Khalid Latif and 29 years of age. I am a junior high school teacher with the Ghana Education Service in the Upper West Region of Ghana. I am the first from a family of five and also married with a kid. I run a small provision shop in my vicinity which I am seeking to expand into mini supermarket. In the kind of community where I live, people sometimes have to go into town before getting basic items such as soap, sugar bread, eggs, Milo, rice etc before to buy. My shop therefore afford people the opportunity to always know that such items and many more could always be had at any time. I am a very optimistic person , affable and easy to be around with and these qualities have endeared me to many people who patronize my shop for their everyday provisions. I believe that with the goodwill I am currently enjoying especially among the youth, an expansion of my shop in terms of the container and other stock could help me break even and even make more profit. The shop gives me a little income and I believe that with support from Zidisha and also through committed efforts and dedication I should be able to see it grow to the level I want it to be. I am very entrepreneurial minded and I make the most out of every opportunity that present itself and as such this next step of expansion is a great step for me.

ABOUT MY BUSINESS
I am in the operation of a provision shop selling all kinds of items such as soaps, food items, soft drinks, stationery, kitchen items etc. Due to the location of the shop, I am able to attract all kinds of people from all walks of life. Also the good customer care that I exhibit at all times has a also been a major factor in the kind and number of customers that i command in my neighborhood . Over here because of the long distance to town majority of people prefer to buy from me than walking to going into town. Also the very affordable prices of most of my commodities has also really helped me in enjoying such amount of goodwill.
I would be glad to get this loan to be able to expand and grow my business. I promise to execute and respect the rules and regulation of this noble institution.

Loan Proposal

MY LOAN PROPOSAL
My provision shop has a good location, affordable prices and has a good customer care system in place that ensures that customers will always go and come back. This has necessitated that I expand and also bring in more products and commodities to cater for the very many increasing customers.
I have been struggling to get loan to push this business up for about a year now and this loan if granted will be godsend to help me achieve this. Since I have been doing this for the past one year, I have gained much experience to realize when to expand or bring in what commodity and this is one of those times where I think that a loan from Zidisha will help increase my profits through expansion.

I have been able to raise to save a little, but now what is left with I s just a bit which will be well covered by this loan. Kindly consider lending me this loan as it will go a long way into helping me achieve my lifelong dream. Am grateful to be part of this organization and I promise to abide by all the rules and regulations.
