My name is Albert luseno residing in Kenya, Nakuru town. I was born and raised in the western part of Kenya at a place called Kakamega. Since I came from a very humble background, I was transferred to Nairobi Lavington primary School. My schooling was sponsered by Missionaries in a children's home where I had to really strive hard because of the financial situation at home. I later joined Kapenguria boys high School and did my O levels. I was able to overcome challenges due to my love for sports and entrepreneurial skills. In my high school years I was able to do cereals business and manual jobs. Currently I sell potatoes which I was able to start by raising capital from another previous employment where i worked in a hotel as a cook. I was not satisfied with the Income I from my job and that's when I decided to start my potato business.
I sell potatoes especially ones which are used to make french fries.my business is a supply business meaning, I buy from farmers and supply to grocery shops, hotels . This goods are useful because they are a source of food ,income. They are on demand because they take a short period to grow and when cooked takes a shorter time.I chose this kind of business because of the customer needs. There was a gap of potatoes needed to make french fries in many hotels in town which prompted me into starting my business. I wanted to bring potatoes closer to the people since most have to go to the market to get some.my cost mainly transport and labor. I don't have a car of my own yet so I pay a lot on transport. I normally use my profits to pay school fee and reinvestment to grow my business.
will buy one more sack of potatoes at 18$ . From the profits I will reinvest into the business which will enable me to pay tution fee for my kids and buy more books for them. For business I expect to make 8$ for every sack of poatoes.b i sell.
