I am Joyce Amo Muruga a resident of Busia County. I went through Ali Bhai Panju Primary School in Mombasa County and did my KCPE certificate in Amagoro primary school where I performed extremely well. Later I joined Misikhu Girls High School in Bungoma County where I did my O level education. Thereafter I joined KCCT College in Mbagathi in Nairobi County (Currently called Multimedia University) where I graduated with a certificate in information Technology. I am the third born and the only girl in the family of five Children and currently a very hard working entrepreneur.
Thanks to Zidisha, my business has been doing well; each and every day comes with new challenges and lots of opportunities. My clientele base has grown tremendously hence repeat business. With these progress I have added additional staff to keep pace with ever growing number of my customers and in addition to that am planning to buy two additional printers because I have won a tender to supply stationary to two neighboring schools (Kocholya High School and Kokare Girls School).
Moreover next year January, schools will be opening for their first term session and already I have booked various schools for the supply of School Identity cards. I will be in a better position to increase my sales to a total revenue of ksh 90,000 per month. Apart from this business I have also additional income of Ksh 10,000 per month from rental house I have rented out my tenants.
Thank you Zidisha family for the great work you are doing in uplifting the standards of small scale business across the globe.
