I'm the 4th born in a family of 5 brothers and a diploma holder in computer engineering. Having looked for job in almost 3 years unsuccessfully, I ventured into construction as a manual laborer, moved from there and become a foreman. I then started taking small time contracts where I hire workers and take on small contracts. I mainly deal with fixing windows in new constructed buildings.
Besides being a small contractor I am a father to one loved daughter and a born again christian.
I deal with fixing windows in newly constructed buildings and also i put window Grills using Clome pipes materials.New fashions of buildings are coming up,hence calling up for new styles of windows and me being a professional in fixing windows I chose the job.The kind of windows I fix are more beautiful and more secure. I mainly charge depending on the size of the building and size of windows. I have one full-time employee and hire others depending on the availability of the jobs.
During peak months, I make up to $ 1,050 but there are months I make as little as $ 400 during low seasons.
My costs depend on the magnitude of the job and involves buying glasses, putty,Clomes and other add-ons that are needed to fix windows. I use the money gotten to pay my employees, domestic use and re-invest in the business by buying equipments. Also I have engaged in tree planting program at our nearby forest in the village where I come from.
I'm requesting for this loan so I can buy a glass cutter for my business. Currently I have to hire the cutter from other dealers and it eats into my profits. However, if I got my own cutter, I would not only be saving costs, but would be in a position to take bigger contracts. This would take me closer to opening my fully fledged construction company.
With my current earnings I will comfortably pay the loan without fail. Looking, forward for funding of my loan.
Regards
Tim
