I was born in Bukura, Western parts of Kenya. My dad died while I was in High school. We had to help her work in peoples farms to earn a leaving from the pay at the end of the day. When I got marred? we had to move to Nairobi to look for a job, which I did not get. I joined other women in making shoes decoration patches, that we sale to shoes makers at Karioko near Nairobi town.
My business involves sawing bids on shoes decoration patches. I chose this business because its the only easily available business that can be done and bring quick income. One pair of patch costs Ksh 100/- . The profit I get after buying the materials is used for food, family clothing and also sent some to my mum back at home.
I will use the loan to buy leather, beads and shoes making machine to expand my business with, in order to increase my products production. This will enable me to have time to move around looking for market. This will enable me also to look make new products on time and take them on the market before the fashion expires on the market. I will also be in position to expand faster and even give people an opportunity thus changing their life. When I expand my business on time, this will also change my parents life style as I will be in better position to help my parents
