About Me

My name is Twalib Hemed, graduate of Bachelor of science in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Economics and Business from University of Dar es salaam (2018). After completing my studies I decided to employ my self in Dried fruits and Vegetables, also am producing spices.

My Business

Business
I started my business in 2018 with capital of 3,000,000/= Tsh derived from my saving and family contributions. I started by buying dehydrator and employing 4 persons in which 60% are women, our office located at Kinondoni.
My business originated to provide solutions to post harvest loss faced by local fruits farmers during harvesting seasons, most of fruits farmers harvest at the same time which lead to flood in the market and hence some fruits decayed before reaching the market.

Project Proposal

The loan will be used to buy more fruits vegetables. Our drying capacity is 50kg for 4-6 hours per one intake. Due to increase in demand of my products I faced with the challenge of insufficient fund to finance increased orders.
In order to solve this challenge am taking this opportunity to request fund so as to increase quantity of fruits and vegetables to be dried, I used to dry (Mangoes, Pineapples, Jackfuits, Banana and vegetables).
