I was born in the year 1994 in Migori where i attended my primary school in Sori primary then proceeded to Kanga high school where i did my KCSE in the year 2013. It was not easy for me to finish my secondary education as it was very difficult for my parents to raise my school fees but through small business that they initiated i managed to get through. I came to start my business of selling the second hand clothes commonly known as Mitumba after my secondary education when my parents raised for me some capital so that i was able to earn myself a living and this has made made me get through many challenges. Where i stay people fancy good clothing as the place is situated next to Kenyatta university hence many students who cherish nice smart clothing. When i will couple up and be blessed with children, i would want them to be professional and God fearing people who can be able to help the society. During my free time, i do watch football and venture in business research activities.
My business involves selling of second hand clothes and this clothes are on demand due to the fact that many students around are not able to afford new clothes from the shop hence they are able to acquire the secondhand clothes at affordable prices.I came to chose this business because it required small capital to start and no technical knowledge for its operation was required. My cost are as follows;Rent for the stall 2500ksh., stock 2750ksh. per bale of clothes, county government charges 300ksh. per day which must be met for the operation to continue on a daily basis.
Incase this loan is advanced to me i will be able buy more stock and expand my stall so as to be able to accommodate different types of both men and ladies wear. Stock will be 67 US dollars, hangers 11 US dollars and 22 US dollars for buying material to expand my stall. When the above all is done, my business will expand and my customers will be able to get different types of clothes and reliable stock and my profit will increase by 27 US dollars per week and this will make business to continue expanding.
